Alabama-Florida State kickoff delayed by lightning in Tuscaloosa<\/p>\n

Lightning in the area delayed the start of No. 10 Alabama\u2019s game against Florida State on Saturday, forcing officials to clear the field about an hour before kickoff.<\/p>\n

Alabama announced the lightning delay as scattered showers moved through the area, putting the matchup on hold during warmups.<\/p>\n

Despite the delay, Alabama\u2019s student section found ways to stay active. Crimson Tide students broke into Florida State\u2019s war chant while being pelted with rain, and when Florida State trainers walked onto the playing surface to take down the Seminoles\u2019 medical tent, they greeted them with boos. <\/p>\n
