Orlando Bloom<\/a> is dishing on his new movie Bucking Fastard<\/a>.<\/p>\n The 49-year-old actor plays the character of Gareth alongside Rooney<\/a> and Kate Mara<\/a> in the new Werner Herzog-directed film.<\/p>\n Bucking Fastard \u201cis about two sisters, Jean and Joan Holbrooke (played by the Mara sister), who are so close to each other that they speak in unison, love the same man, and have the same dreams. They even make the same slip of tongue in unison. We cannot see the world as they see it, but we do see how the world reacts to them \u2013 through the courts and the press, through those that want to help and those who want to use them, through the eyes of beasts both tame and wild, and even through their own echoes in the core of the earth.\u201d<\/p>\n While promoting the new movie at the 2026 San Sebasti\u00e1n Film Festival in Spain, Orlando detailed filming the threesome scene with Rooney, 41, and Kate, 43.<\/p>\n Orlando first noted to Variety<\/a> that there\u2019s \u201csuch simplicity to the characters and [their] carnal desires, but also an innocence to the sisters.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy character, the Bucking Fastard, is sensitive too,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd he\u2019s quite quickly out of his depth in some ways. It was a very sincere sort of moment that was created.\u201d<\/p>\n Werner then shared his approach to filming the steamy scene.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are moments when a director has to step back,\u201d the filmmaker said. \u201cIn the love scene, I said to Orlando, \u2018You are in bed, and you have two women in your arms.
