Officials also confirmed the dogs belong to the mother\u2019s fianc\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Broward County Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies were called around 6:30 p.m. Friday to an apartment complex near Southwest 28th Avenue and Griffin Road for a severe dog attack.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Animal Care officials said officers tried to contact the dogs\u2019 owner Friday evening, but he did not return to the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">On Saturday, after Animal Care officers completed their investigation at the hospital, they went back to the apartment and confiscated both dogs, according to officials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The dogs are now at the animal shelter as officials look into their histories.
