{"id":405081,"date":"2026-09-20T02:44:31","date_gmt":"2026-09-20T02:44:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/405081\/"},"modified":"2026-09-20T02:44:31","modified_gmt":"2026-09-20T02:44:31","slug":"multi-vehicle-crash-shuts-down-66th-street-north-in-largo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/405081\/","title":{"rendered":"Multi-vehicle crash shuts down 66th Street North in Largo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The crash involved 10 cars, according to the Largo Police Department. 10 Tampa Bay News is on the scene.<\/p>\n<p>LARGO, Fla. \u2014 A multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ulmerton Road and 66th Street North shut down part of 66th Street on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The Largo Police Department says the crash involved 10 cars and happened in the 1300 block of 66th Street North just before 7:45 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>According to Largo PD, four people were transported to local hospitals. Three have serious bodily injuries, and one person sustained life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Six people reportedly refused medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Police say traffic investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash, but preliminary information indicates no signs of impairment.<\/p>\n<p>The northbound lanes of 66th Street North were closed for several hours.
