They&#8217;ll be found in the Short Term, Long Term, and Economy garages.<\/p>\n<p>Among other upgrades, the payment screens will now accept tap-to-pay with cards and with mobile technology such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.<\/p>\n<p>                                            &#13;<br \/>\n                                                <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/assets\/shared-images\/icons\/arrow-circle-down.svg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>                                            &#13;<br \/>\n                                                This story continues below.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis upgrade of the ticketing equipment in our parking garages is part of our continuous efforts to enhance our guest experience,&#8221; said TPA Vice President of Concessions and Commercial Parking Laurie Noyes.<\/p>\n<p>Entering and leaving the parking garages will also become easier for travelers who pre-book parking at TPA. A license plate reader will scan the plate on an incoming car and, if it matches, automatically open the gate. This eliminates the need for drivers to scan a QR code as they come in. When the car exits the garage, the plate will be scanned again and the exit gate automatically opened.<\/p>\n<p>Airport officials say it will take a few weeks to swap out all 18 ticket dispensers and 18 payment machines.
