The Tide responded well in set two and evened things up at 1-1, returning the favor, 25-18.

Later on, Alabama found its groove and coasted to a 25-14 win in the third. After the Jaguars made it 2-2 in the fourth set, the Tide’s undefeated record at home was on the line. Alabama managed to come from behind after a timeout in set five to secure the victory.

Laney Hennessee was a force to be reckoned with all match as she racked up 20 kills, the most by a Tide player in a match all year. The difference maker, however, was Alabama’s performance at the service line as the Crimson Tide finished with a season-best 14 aces.

“Ultimately, we just talk about the fundamentals.
