(WCTV) &#8211; Patchy dense fog this morning for some of you. Stay updated on visibility conditions in your neighborhood throughout the morning on WCTV or right <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/weather\/maproom\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/weather\/maproom\/\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>A little brighter today <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Temperatures are mild in the low 70s, slightly humid for late September. Warm and brighter than yesterday, with highs in the low 90s as you get home from work or pick up the kids from school. A couple of afternoon thundershowers are possible again today. <\/p>\n<p>Copy and paste through midweek <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The weather pattern won\u2019t shift much through midweek. I will keep scattered showers in the forecast through Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will start in the 70s and low 90s in the afternoon. This will not be an all-day rain, with breaks of sunshine both days. <\/p>\n<p>A taste of fall \ud83c\udf41<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A strong cold front will push into the southeast, bringing our second hint of fall, but this cooler and drier air will stick around much longer. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">By Thursday afternoon, it will be mostly sunny and breezy with MUCH lower humidity! <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Temperatures will be in the upper-60s on Friday morning as we wrap up our workweek. You might need a light jacket as we adjust to the cooler and drier air! Plenty of sunshine on Friday afternoon. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The fall feel continues this weekend as we wake up to \u201ccrisp\u201d air in the low-to-mid-60s. Afternoon highs will be comfortable in the mid-80s. <\/p>\n<p>Beach and Boating<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Water temperature: 87<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Monday: Good weather for beaches and boating today. Highs in the upper 80s along the coast with a slight chance of showers, mainly in the morning. Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 1 foot or less. Smooth to a light chop on the bays and protected waters. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tuesday: A slight chance of showers. Otherwise, partly sunny. East winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 1 foot or less. Smooth to a light chop on the bays and protected waters. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Wednesday: A slight chance of showers. Otherwise, partly sunny. Northeast winds 5 to 15 knots. Seas 1 foot or less. A moderate chop on the bays and protected waters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Thursday and Friday: Waters turning more choppy with northeast winds 15 to 25 knots. Waves 2 to 5 feet. <\/p>\n<p>Tracking the tropics<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tropical storm Fay is churning in the North Atlantic near the Azores islands and is expected to gradually weaken over the next day or two.
