South Florida flooding threat grows as soaked ground braces for more rain through Tuesday<\/p>\n

WPBF 25 First Warning: Meteorologists are tracking impact weather that could bring localized flooding to parts of South Florida through Tuesday. <\/p>\n

Ground conditions remain saturated from recent rainfall, increasing the risk of flooding in areas that receive heavier downpours. <\/p>\n

Additional rainfall could quickly lead to flooding in low-lying and poorly drained areas because the ground is already saturated from recent rainfall. <\/p>\n

What to expect Widespread storms and flooding in the afternoon and evening Seasonable temperatures in the upper 80s On-and-off showers after 2 p.m. <\/p>\n

There will also be more widespread storm coverage over the next few days, but WPBF 25 meteorologists say it should get a little drier by the weekend.<\/p>\n
