{"id":40794,"date":"2025-11-10T13:01:08","date_gmt":"2025-11-10T13:01:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/40794\/"},"modified":"2025-11-10T13:01:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T13:01:08","slug":"woman-dies-after-being-stabbed-in-dania-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/40794\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman dies after being stabbed in Dania Beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0November 10, 2025 at 7:38 AM<\/p>\n<p>Man arrested after woman fatally stabbed in Dania Beach A man was arrested Thursday after a domestic incident that led to a standoff in Dania Beach, authorities said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">DANIA BEACH, Fla.  \u2014 A woman has died after she was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/news\/local\/2025\/11\/06\/bso-man-barricades-himself-after-stabbing-woman-in-dania-beach\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/news\/local\/2025\/11\/06\/bso-man-barricades-himself-after-stabbing-woman-in-dania-beach\/\">stabbed last week in Dania Beach<\/a>, Local 10 News learned Monday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed that the suspect in the case, Benjamin Gottlieb, 36, was arrested Thursday in connection with the killing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">At the time, he was arrested on an attempted murder charge but that charge is expected to be upgraded now that the victim has died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to BSO, deputies responded shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday to the 4400 block of Treasure Cove Drive, where they found a woman with multiple stab wounds. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Officials said Gottlieb barricaded himself inside a home before surrendering to deputies after several hours. The sheriff\u2019s Special Victims Unit is investigating.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Gottlieb was not appearing in the online jail database Monday morning.
