The School District of Lee County is grateful to receive $316,500 in annual grant funding from Suncoast Credit Union to expand learning opportunities for students across the district.<\/p>\n
Suncoast Credit Union\u2019s donation will help students pursue participation in academic and artistic competitions and events including the Lee County Spelling Bee, Art Walk, the Lee County Student Film & Television competition, and the Young People\u2019s Concert at the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra. The funds will continue to support early childhood education by contributing to the implementation of five PreK classrooms across the district. The funds also expand enrichment opportunities in Career and Technical Education, JROTC and Adult Education. This comprehensive investment in students and schools empowers the next generation of leaders, creators, and professionals in our community.<\/p>\n
