(Video courtesy of Pompano Beach Fire Rescue) <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA, Fla. \u2014 A fire that engulfed a 40-foot boat at a dock in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea early Wednesday morning is considered suspicious, according to Pompano Beach Fire Rescue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2026\/09\/23\/incendio-sospechoso-destruye-bote-de-40-pies-en-lauderdale-by-the-sea\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2026\/09\/23\/incendio-sospechoso-destruye-bote-de-40-pies-en-lauderdale-by-the-sea\/\">Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Firefighters responded shortly after 6 a.m. to reports of a boat fire behind 264 S.
