‘You\u2019ve seen things’: South Florida high school shocked by calculator returned two decades late<\/p>\n

A high school in South Florida received a surprise delivery from the United States Post Office: a TI-83 Plus calculator borrowed by a class of 2006 graduate and returned 20 years later.<\/p>\n

According to a Facebook post from Lincoln Park Academy<\/a>, the vintage calculator, labeled “LPA 123,” appears to have survived countless math classes, college exams, career changes and at least a few dead batteries during its extended absence. <\/p>\n

\u201cTo our mystery Class of 2006 graduate: thank you for honoring your commitment… just 20 years later,\u201d the school<\/a> wrote in the post. <\/p>\n

The calculator has officially returned to the kennel, and the school expressed its admiration for the graduate\u2019s memory and dedication to avoiding library fines. <\/p>\n

“Welcome home, TI-83. You’ve seen things,” the school added.<\/p>\n
