Save Our Streets Campaign secures close to 200,000 dollars in funding from the St. Pete City Council<\/p>\n
Advocates for the campaign explained the proposal aims to reduce gun violence and make communities safer. While the campaign closed on nearly $200,000, the original proposal requested $1.1 million to fund youth programs and community development. <\/p>\n
One of Florida\u2019s great snorkeling and diving sites is being threatened by development<\/p>\n
Developers have proposed a campaign to build a 25-story condominium and marina in a vacant lot next to popular snorkeling spot, Blue Heron Bridge<\/a>. As a result, a petition has been started by citizens and local businesses that do not want development to continue. <\/p>\n Campus demoliton is scheduled as soon as December as part of the Tampa Bay Rays $2.3 billion ballpark project.
