{"id":409780,"date":"2026-09-24T23:56:21","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T23:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/409780\/"},"modified":"2026-09-24T23:56:21","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T23:56:21","slug":"universal-orlandos-famed-fright-nights-are-back-with-ozzy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/409780\/","title":{"rendered":"Universal Orlando&#8217;s famed Fright Nights are back with Ozzy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in 1991, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/web\/en\/us\/theme-parks\/universal-studios-florida\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Universal Studios Orlando<\/a> hosted a special ticketed event called \u201cFright Nights.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>It lasted for three nights and consisted of one horror house, the Dungeon of Terror, housed in what was the \u201cJaws\u201d ride queue.<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward 35 years later, and the event has grown like Graboids into a two month extravaganza featuring 10 haunted houses, a network of scare zones and a crypt of creeped out entertainment sprawled across the park.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.49926794;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"   data-modal-image=\"40969740\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/halloween-universal-studios-orlando-florida-140160705.jpg\" alt=\"Pinhead from Hellraiser, in a dark, bloody room with chains, holding a puzzle box.\" class=\"wp-image-40969740\"\/>Pinhead gets straight to the point at Universal Orlando.  Universal Studios<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s village of the damned includes excerpts from pop culture like \u201cStranger Things,\u201d where you can attempt to avoid the demogorgon, and a visit to Club Juke from \u201cSinners,\u201d which of course takes a deadly turn. <\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also a nod to classic horror in \u201cHellraiser,\u201d a bloodthirsty production of pleasure and pain that was overseen by its iconic author, Clive Barker. <\/p>\n<p>A favorite, though, is \u201cOzzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness,\u201d since there\u2019s a great soundtrack and an animatronic bat that bites the head off Ozzy (IYKYK) plus the chance to board the crazy train. Universal Studios<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no escaping the frights outside either, with scare zones lining the park featuring clowns from outer space, the Chainsaw Hordes and a zone called Fortnitemares, plus two new shows \u2014 the lagoon water show projection \u201cStranger Things: Return to Hawkins\u201d and \u201cNightmare Fuel: Blood Noir\u201d \u2014 a risque dance\/acrobat\/sword eating\/pole dancing extravaganza with a sexy vampire theme.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tStart your day with all you need to know\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"inline-module__cta\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMorning Report delivers the latest news, videos, photos and more.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tThanks for signing up!\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget the food, either \u2014 there\u2019s blended drinks like Oddfellows Elixir, themed culinary creations like Upside Down Chicken &amp; Waffles, and cake that looks like meat. Yum.<\/p>\n<p>The event runs most nights through Nov. 1 and tickets start at $90. Since the most horrific part might be the wait times for the houses (which can stretch to hours) you can also splurge for an \u201cRIP tour\u201d in which an informative guide takes small groups to the front of the lines.
