ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 Two people were hospitalized Friday morning after a vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire in Orange County, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.<\/p>\n

The crash happened around 8:04 a.m. near the intersection of Palm Parkway and S. Apopka Vineland Road.<\/p>\n

Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle on fire. <\/p>\n

The driver had gotten out of the vehicle before crews arrived, and firefighters extinguished the flames.<\/p>\n

Two patients were transported to local hospitals. <\/p>\n

One person was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with burns, while another was transported to Orlando Health Dr. Phillips Hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n

The circumstances surrounding the crash were not immediately available.<\/p>\n
