<\/p>\nORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 Central Florida is getting a noticeable taste of fall this weekend as drier air brings cooler temperatures, lower humidity and the first widespread 60-degree mornings since June.<\/p>\n
FRIDAY<\/p>\n
Drier air continues to filter into Central Florida today, keeping rain chances lower than they have been.<\/p>\n
Northerly winds will remain breezy, especially near the coast, with gusts up to 30 mph.<\/p>\n
Highs will only reach the low to mid-80s, with much lower humidity helping keep heat indices mostly in the 80s.<\/p>\n
Even more of a noticeable change comes overnight, with wake-up lows dipping into the mid-60s. This will be the first time since June that temperatures have fallen that low.<\/p>\n
WEEKEND<\/p>\n
The comfortable weather sticks around through the weekend.<\/p>\n
Saturday and Sunday will feature mostly dry conditions, with rain chances staying below normal. Highs will remain in the low to mid-80s, while morning lows fall into the 60s.<\/p>\n
Humidity will also stay noticeably lower, making for a much more comfortable weekend.<\/p>\n
COASTAL HAZARDS<\/p>\n
While the weather improves on land, beach conditions will remain dangerous.<\/p>\n
A high risk of life-threatening rip currents and rough surf will continue at area beaches through the weekend. Large breaking waves of 4\u20138 feet and a long-period swell could also cause minor beach and dune erosion.<\/p>\n
A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for Atlantic waters, with some areas likely remaining under the advisory through the weekend.<\/p>\n
NEXT WEEK<\/p>\n
Temperatures gradually return to more typical levels early next week, with highs climbing back into the mid to upper 80s.<\/p>\n
Moisture also increases, bringing back higher rain and storm chances by Wednesday and Thursday.<\/p>\n
