{"id":410704,"date":"2026-09-25T21:34:15","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T21:34:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/410704\/"},"modified":"2026-09-25T21:34:15","modified_gmt":"2026-09-25T21:34:15","slug":"1-person-killed-multiple-others-injured-in-major-crash-in-doral-nbc-6-south-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/410704\/","title":{"rendered":"1 person killed, multiple others injured, in major crash in Doral \u2013 NBC 6 South Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One person was killed and multiple others were injured in a major crash at an intersection in Doral on Friday, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The crash happened shortly before 11 a.m. in the area of Northwest 36th Street and Northwest 87th Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials said crews responded to the crash that involved multiple vehicles and found a person trapped inside one of the cars.<\/p>\n<p>MDFR&#8217;s Technical Rescue Team was able to get the person out of the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Aerial footage from Chopper 6 showed at least half a dozen vehicles including two pickup trucks were involved in the crash.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/092526-NW-Miami-Dade-crash-scene.png\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\"Multiple people were reportedly injured in a major crash at a northwest Miami-Dade intersection on Friday.\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\tNBC6NBC6<\/p>\n<p>Multiple people were reportedly injured in a major crash at a northwest Miami-Dade intersection on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>One red GMC vehicle could be seen resting on top of a crushed white car which had its doors torn away and airbags deployed from the impact..<\/p>\n<p>There were a total of six patients, including four who were treated and released at the scene, one who was airlifted to a local hospital and one who was taken by ground, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Miami-Dade Sheriff&#8217;s Office officials confirmed that traffic homicide detectives were investigating but gave no details on the person who was killed.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses said the driver of the red GMC ran a red light and crossed into the opposite lanes before slamming into six vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Gustavo Bedding said he was in one of the vehicles but said he and his wife walked away without any injuries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What I find amazing is that speed that that pickup got just in the space of the intersection,&#8221;
