{"id":410858,"date":"2026-09-26T00:50:24","date_gmt":"2026-09-26T00:50:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/410858\/"},"modified":"2026-09-26T00:50:24","modified_gmt":"2026-09-26T00:50:24","slug":"no-active-threat-after-gun-confiscated-at-jacksonville-high-school-district-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/410858\/","title":{"rendered":"No active threat after gun confiscated at Jacksonville High School, district says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) &#8211; Jacksonville Independent School District said there is no active threat after a gun was confiscated at the high school campus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to JISD\u2019s news release, a firearm was reported at the high school Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">JISD said staff responded quickly and immediately confiscated the gun and the campus was placed on HOLD.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The release said additional JISD law enforcement responded immediately as well. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the JISD release, the campus is no longer on HOLD and classes have resumed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The release said parents and staff were alerted immediately and there is not active threat at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KLTV.
