{"id":410974,"date":"2026-09-26T04:00:11","date_gmt":"2026-09-26T04:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/410974\/"},"modified":"2026-09-26T04:00:11","modified_gmt":"2026-09-26T04:00:11","slug":"worker-rescued-after-falling-into-hopper-at-winter-garden-concrete-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/410974\/","title":{"rendered":"Worker rescued after falling into hopper at Winter Garden concrete facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Worker rescued after falling into hopper at Winter Garden concrete facility<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1790395210_87_author_avatar.png\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\" alt=\"Brandon Hogan\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>WINTER GARDEN, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"0\">A worker at a Winter Garden concrete facility was injured Friday after slipping from a ladder and falling into a hopper, according to firefighters. <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"1\">Winter Garden Fire Rescue responded that afternoon to Lotts Concrete at 429 Hennis Road, where the worker had fallen more than 10 feet and suffered a leg injury, the agency said in a statement. <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"2\">The worker remained trapped for several minutes before he was able to call for help, the statement reads. <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"3\">&#8220;The incident required a combined high-angle, technical, and confined-space rescue,&#8221; firefighters said. &#8220;Crews successfully removed the worker from the hopper in approximately 40\u201345 minutes.
