The hospitality legend behind Bang, Joia, Quattro, and WALL is opening Mercante, a chic Italian Riviera-inspired restaurant and piano bar on the Miami River, in late 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\u2019s partnered with Roman Jones of House Kiki \u2014 the group behind Kiki on the River and Habibi \u2014 and the concept is pure coastal Italy: fresh pastas, crudo, Italian street food at the bar, meatball and beverage pairings, house-made breads, desserts and gelato, an all-Italian wine list, and Italian-inspired craft cocktails.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vibes are part of the program: curated soundtracks, karaoke, live bands, and jazzy piano.
