(WWSB) &#8211; A small plane has apparently crashed in a lake in a residential neighborhood near Fort Lauderdale, local police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A social media post on the Coral Spring Police Department Facebook page says police and fire crews are on the scene of the crash behind a home in the 5700 block of Creekside Drive, south of the Sawgrass Expressway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No other information was immediately available. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Aerial footage from the scene showed the plane appeared to have clipped some trees and taken out part of a home\u2019s backyard fence before crashing into a pond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WWSB.
