(WCTV) &#8211; A man accused of a deadly shooting in Calhoun County Sunday evening was arrested in Tallahassee, according to the Blountstown Police Department. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Leon County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed to WCTV Monday afternoon that 21-year-old Kellen Speights was arrested by LCSO deputies late Sunday, hours after the incident initially unfolded in Calhoun County.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He\u2019s charged with homicide, along with fleeing and eluding, Blountstown Police wrote in a press release. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"The Leon County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed to WCTV Monday afternoon that 21-year-old Kellen...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/BXYK3PSIN5BNRIL6U4L7KPZBSQ.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>The Leon County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed to WCTV Monday afternoon that 21-year-old Kellen Speights was arrested by LCSO deputies late Sunday.(Leon County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Speights\u2019 arrest comes after the incident transpired in Calhoun County around 6 p.m. Sunday. Officers were called to Calhoun Liberty Hospital, where a man who had been shot was brought in, the press release revealed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">However, the man died at the hospital despite life-saving measures, according to police. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">An investigation revealed that the shooting happened at Cooper\u2019s Park in Blountstown, officers said. Authorities searched the area where police said multiple shell casings were found. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-center article-text\">More on crime in our area<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">During the investigation, investigators identified Speights as a suspect, per the police statement.
