The name also reflects El-Ad\u2019s work in repositioning landmark properties, including its redevelopment of The Plaza Hotel in New York City.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe updated name and logo reflect a more intentional, hospitality-driven vision tied directly to The Plaza Davie District, prioritizing connection, experience and the energy of South Florida living,\u201d El-Ad CEO Matthew Jeffries said. \u201cThe branding, architecture and interiors are all aligned in that vision. From its design to its amenities, this is being built as a true destination in the heart of Davie.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The rebrand includes a new logo with a palm tree motif that El-Ad hopes will bring to mind the project\u2019s outdoor lifestyle and tropical surroundings. It also follows the recent topping-out of the first building in phase one of the 2.8 million-square-foot development. Updated signage and fencing are being installed at the construction site.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Plaza Davie District is being delivered in three phases, the first of which will deliver a 22-story <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantaagentmagazine.com\/2026\/09\/22\/crescent-novel-douglasville\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">apartment<\/a> tower that\u2019s scheduled to open in early 2027. When fully built out, the development will have five residential towers with approximately 1,292 rental units, 36,000 square feet of restaurants and retail, and 1.1 million square feet of access-controlled parking with 2,650 spaces.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-62141\" class=\" wp-image-62141\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/C2-final-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"853\" height=\"512\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-62141\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">When fully built out, the development will have five residential towers.
