MIAMI GARDENS \u2013 The No. 6 Hurricanes appear to be without two key players against Central Michigan on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Standout running back Mark Fletcher Jr. and defensive tackle Ahmad Moten Sr. did not warm up prior to Saturday\u2019s game at Hard Rock Stadium. They both suffered injuries during UM\u2019s win over Wake Forest last week.<\/a><\/p>\n

Fletcher and Moten were in their jerseys with no pads while the rest of the team warmed up.<\/p>\n

Miami\u2019s star wide receiver, Malachi Toney, was also banged up against Wake Forest but was dressed to play.<\/p>\n

Fletcher, a preseason AP All-American,<\/a> left the game against the Demon Deacons late in the fourth quarter. Miami coach Mario Cristobal said on Monday that Fletcher appeared likely to play. After the game, Cristobal said Fletcher was held out as a precaution.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe feel Mark is healthy and ready to go,\u201d Cristobal said. \u201cHe was banged up to the point where it may not have been the best choice to put him in there tonight, especially with his running style. (He) kind of runs hard. So he\u2019s excited. It was more holding him back. \u2026 He\u2019s ready to roll.\u201d<\/p>\n

The star running back has a team-best 230 rushing yards and three touchdowns this year. He is averaging 6.4 yards per carry through three games.<\/p>\n

Miami was already down one running back, as UM redshirt junior Marty Brown is out for the season with an apparent leg injury.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Moten also suffered an injury against Wake Forest, leaving the game during UM\u2019s first defensive drive. He returned to the game on the next drive, but he played only 27 snaps.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s right there,\u201d Cristobal said. \u201cHe\u2019s right there and he\u2019s ready to roll. I don\u2019t see any limitations on him going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
