\u201cI believe they change drivers\u2019 behavior,\u201d Carnegie-Ramos said. \u201cBecause they know that there is a cost behind the consequences. So, I believe it helps.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also believes it makes the roads safer for everyone.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt prevents accidents. It also prevents costs for other drivers. It saves lives. Honestly, because if I know I\u2019m going to pay 3 or $400 for a ticket, I\u2019m going to stop before the red light hits,\u201d Carnegie-Ramos said.<\/p>\n
