Airport Upgrades Move Forward<\/p>\n
Part of a $145 million upgrade at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport<\/a>, plans are moving forward for a new 2,000-space parking garage and a 300-space surface lot. The $57 million parking project is slated to break ground in January 2027 and is expected to wrap up in early 2028. Clearwater Executive Airport<\/a> has broken ground on a new two-story, 18,000-square-foot terminal. The project is expected to be completed by December 2027.<\/p>\n Hospitality leaders Blake Casper and Allison Casper Adams, the team behind Oxford Exchange<\/a>, are planning Clay Hill, a luxury destination spanning 550 acres across Pasco and Hernando counties. Plans call for 130 rooms, a farm-to-table program, multiple food and beverage concepts, a wellness spa, chapel, clubhouse, equestrian center and collection of estate-style homes. If approvals move forward, construction could begin in 2028, with an opening anticipated around late 2030.<\/p>\n Long Awaited Tampa Bay Rays Decision Made<\/p>\n The Tampa Bay Rays<\/a>, City of Tampa<\/a> and Hillsborough County<\/a> have reached an agreement for a $2.3 billion ballpark in Tampa. Under the proposed funding structure, the Rays would invest approximately $1.37 billion, while Hillsborough County would contribute $796 million and the city would provide $80 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n Icons Club Plans Fitness Production Studio Ahead of 2027 App Launch\u00a0<\/p>\n Icons Club<\/a>, a subscription-based fitness platform, is planning a 3,300-square-foot production studio at 7101 U.S. Hwy. 19 N. ahead of its app\u2019s expected launch in 2027.
