PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 A 15-year-old girl was arrested in Port St. Lucie on Monday after police say she bashed a patrol car with a shovel, causing $1,200 in damage.<\/p>\n
Officers with the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) say they were dispatched to the 1400 block of Bartell Ave. on Monday for reports of a disturbance.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, police say they met 15-year-old Amy Chance armed with a shovel in the middle of the street.<\/p>\n

(CBS12) \u2014 A chaotic scene erupted in St. Lucie County when a reckless U-Haul driver allegedly unleashed a trail of destruction, forcing cars off the road and injuring drivers.<\/p>\n The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) said that on Monday at around 5:15 p.m., 911 dispatchers received multiple reports of the U-Haul pickup truck forcing other vehicles off the road in the Lakewood Park area.<\/p>\n According to SLCSO, a deputy from the Patrol Operations Bureau first spotted the U-Haul pickup truck speeding recklessly through the Winn-Dixie parking lot in Lakewood Park, endangering pedestrians and other drivers. (CBS12) \u2014A Florida man is accused of injuring his father with a hunting knife, threatening to kill four children, and spitting on a deputy.<\/p>\n According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO), on Sunday, deputies responded to a home on Fowler Drive in Deltona after receiving reports of a man armed with a large hunting knife who injured one person and was threatening to kill four children inside the home.<\/p>\n Deputies say when the first deputy arrived at the scene, the suspect’s father threw himself between his son and the deputy to prevent a shooting. (CBS12) \u2014 A Florida man previously charged in connection with a deadly club shooting is back behind bars.<\/p>\n The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said deputies raided a Fort Myers stash house on Halloween, uncovering a massive cache of illegal drugs.<\/p>\n The sheriff’s office said deputies executed a tactical operation on Regata Way, where they discovered more than a dozen kilograms of narcotics.
