Google Maps photo (Miami Coral Park High School); Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office mugshot photo via Local 10 News <\/a><\/p>\n Robert Cash Lewin, the CEO and founder of 1-800-411-PAIN<\/a>, was arrested over the weekend after allegedly bringing a gun onto a Miami high school campus. <\/p>\n On Saturday, police responded to Miami Coral Park Senior High in the county\u2019s Westchester area after school administrators reported that the 59-year-old from Southwest Ranches had been sitting inside the gymnasium bleachers with a concealed gun in his waistband, according to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office (MDSO). <\/p>\n According to the report (attached at the bottom of this story), officials said the gun became visible when Lewin bent over, and a student snapped a photo that was sent to the assistant principal.<\/p>\n Deputies found Lewin sitting in the school\u2019s parking lot in a black Lincoln Navigator with a license plate that displayed the words \u201c411PAIN,\u201d upon which they conducted a pat-down and found a gun, an extra magazine, and a knife, the report reads. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\tWill you step up to support New Times this year?\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWe\u2019re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If\u00a0Miami New Times\u00a0matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n According to the report, Lewin told deputies he brought the gun by \u201caccident.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cThe defendant stated it was an accident and he did not mean to take the firearm on school grounds,\u201d the report reads. <\/p>\n Even with a concealed weapon or firearm license, people in Florida cannot legally bring a firearm into a K-12 school<\/a> or onto school property. Possessing a firearm on school grounds is generally a felony under Florida law, with few exceptions.\u00a0<\/p>\n Records show Lewin faces one count of illegal possession of a firearm on school property. As of Monday afternoon, he didn\u2019t appear as an inmate in Miami-Dade County jail records. <\/p>\n Merick Tyler Lewin, an attorney representing Lewin, did not respond to New Times\u2018 request for comment. <\/p>\n In 1995, Lewin established the Davie-based medical and lawyer referral service known for its catchy jingles (remember: \u201cAfter 911, call 411. Call 1-800-411-PAIN\u201d<\/a>?)
