<\/p>\nJava lovers, don’t lose your beans. Hate to break the news, but the Starbucks location on 2308 Apalachee Parkway has closed for good. Its final day of operation was Sept. 26.<\/p>\n
True “Starbies” lovers were notified in the app when they went to order their daily fix; others found a letter on the door.<\/p>\n
“We’ve made the very difficult decision to close this Starbucks location by the end of this week. We know this may be hard to hear \u2014 because this isn’t just any store. It’s your coffeehouse, a place woven into your daily rhythm, where memories were made and meaningful connections with our partners grew,” the letter said. “We’re deeply grateful for these moments, and for the community that’s been built here.”<\/p>\n

The Apalachee Parkway storefront closure comes amid the company’s Sept. 24 announcement that it plans to close about 250 locations across North America.<\/p>\n

The storefront was previously home to a Chick-fil-A.<\/p>\n Members of the Living Tallahassee social group shared their reactions in the comments of a post notifying the community of the closure.<\/p>\n Starbucks’ fall menu expansion includes the PSL, new iced beverages, returning favorites and fresh food offerings.<\/p>\n One user said, “I swear they always inconvenience us, like why is this one closing down! I love going to this Starbucks. And I did try the one on Magnolia and it was pretty good. The inside was nice.”<\/p>\n Another user said, “That’s the best one in town.
