LUCIE POLIC<\/p>\n<p>            USA TODAY Network, Reuters<\/p>\n<p>Port St. Lucie Police arrested two men, each involved in separate hit-and-run incidents within a day of each other.<\/p>\n<p>Giovanny Jamicevic Karl Barthelemy, 23, identified by police as the driver of a car attempting to enter a neighborhood near Southwest Roma and Southwest Lorenzo ways, is accused of striking a teen on an e-bike, making a U-turn and fleeing, according to police in a social media post.<\/p>\n<p>Barthelemy did not call 911 or help the teen. The e-bike rider was transported to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce with significant injuries, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The owner of the vehicle, not Barthelemy, called 911 to report damage to it after it was returned, which led to Barthelemy being identified as the driver during the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Barthelemy was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving injuries. He was booked in at the St. Lucie County Jail early Sept. 30 on $2,500 bond, according to the jail website.<\/p>\n<p>A day earlier, officers attempted a traffic stop on a car near Southwest Becker Road and Southwest Hallmark Street when the driver, later identified as Christian Jeremiah Johnson, 19, fled.<\/p>\n<p>He struck a traffic sign, police stated on social media.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was later found on I-95, where Johnson was taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>He was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage; reckless driving; and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
