There\u2019s some positive news on the Perez Hilton front.<\/p>\n

Almost two months after a highly disturbing livestream in which the 48-year-old blogger appeared to be engaging in acts of self-harm at his Miami-area home, he has reunited with his kids. That\u2019s according to a statement on Hilton\u2019s eponymous website,<\/a> which has been providing regular updates since his Aug. 4 hospitalization.<\/p>\n

After recovering from physical injuries sustained in the TikTok Live, Hilton was transferred to an inpatient psychiatric facility,<\/a> his brother-in-law reported on Hilton\u2019s podcast in late August.<\/p>\n

That facility is apparently where Hilton\u2019s three kids \u2013 Mario III, 13; Mia, 11; and Mayte, 8 \u2013 were able to have \u201cshort, supervised visits\u201d with their father.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing his children in person has meant an enormous amount to Perez,\u201d the update said. \u201cThere have definitely been a lot of emotions for everyone, but being able to spend that time together has been incredibly meaningful and healing.\u201d<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t know yet when the Belen Jesuit graduate will be able to return home.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s continuing to work with his care team on understanding what led to his mental health crisis, recognizing warning signs, learning better ways to cope, and working through everything that brought him to this point,\u201d the statement concludes.<\/p>\n

The site also continues to ask for donations for GoFundMe to help Hilton\u2019s mother, who has temporary custody. As of Wednesday morning, the fundraiser, which caused some controversy<\/a> due Hilton still owning a $4 million home in Las Vegas, had reached almost $15,000 of its $25,000 goal.<\/p>\n
