PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 Police are investigating a shooting near the 2700 block of SE Tropical East Circle and are asking nearby residents to stay inside on Monday. <\/p>\n
Officers with the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) say that the scene is very active with a heavy police presence in the area. The scene is just around the corner from Mariposa Elementary School.<\/p>\n
