FORT PIERCE \u2014 Known for its rapid-fire dialogue, frantic door-slamming, and mistaken identities, \u201cSee How They Run\u201d is running at the Pineapple Playhouse through Oct. 18.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Set in the idyllic village of Merton-cum-Middlewick, England during World War II, where villagers are preparing for the imminent threat of Nazi invasion.<\/p>\n
Resident spinster Miss Skillon, played by local actress Jeanne Collin, becomes convinced that her beloved vicar\u2019s actress wife is having an affair and attempts to expose her.<\/p>\n
Add an escaped German prisoner of war, a handsome actor, the visiting Bishop of Lax, a rotund locum priest and some meddling neighbors and hilarious confusion and mayhem result.<\/p>\n
The comedy is directed by Josef Long, who has more than five decades of experience in theatrical direction.<\/p>\n
