She sees firsthand how social work case managers and nurse case managers navigate difficult days while continuing to show up for patients, families and one another.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSome days are amazing and others can be rough, but my staff take every day as a challenge,\u201d Rouge said. \u201cThey find something, work through it and come back the next day with a positive attitude.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rouge calls it \u201cfinding miracles in the everyday,\u201d moments when hard work results in relief or a smile from a patient or family member. Case managers often enter people\u2019s lives during their most difficult moments, and for Rouge, providing comfort and making those days a little easier is what makes the work worthwhile.
