(WFLA) \u2014 A Tampa death investigation has been reclassified to a homicide, according to the Tampa Police Department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">TPD said that on Sept. 22, officers responded to a shooting on Nebraska Avenue near McEwen Avenue, where they found a man who appeared to be in his early sixties suffering from a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Officers said they immediately provided life-saving care before Tampa Fire Rescue transported him to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries days later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Investigators released video of the suspect on Thursday, in hopes that someone will be able to identify him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130 and refer to report #26-561780.
