Rick Ross denies domestic violence allegations after Miami Beach arrest tied to Star Island case<\/p>\n

\"DanielleMIAMI BEACH, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\n

Rapper and hip-hop record executive Rick Ross has denied allegations of domestic violence and felony battery by strangulation following his Oct. 1 arrest in Miami Beach.<\/p>\n

Authorities said Ross has been accused of choking a woman and slamming her into a wall at a home on Star Island, an exclusive area in South Florida. <\/p>\n

“I’ll be in Dubai tomorrow, Paris Saturday, and I plan on having a bowl of rigatoni with heavy marinara Sunday,” Ross said, denying the allegations. <\/p>\n

Authorities said the alleged incident occurred in August, but the arrest came after they gathered enough evidence, including surveillance video. <\/p>\n

It is unclear whether Ross’ bond conditions will allow him to leave the country as planned.<\/p>\n

The rapper, whose legal name is William Leonard Roberts, was released on a cash bond shortly after his arrest. <\/p>\n

Ross is best known for his 2006 debut single, “Hustlin’.”<\/p>\n
