Dr. Meghan Martin, a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Johns Hopkins All Children\u2019s Hospital, published the post during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which is observed each September.<\/p>\n
Martin, known as @Beachgem10<\/a> on social media, regularly creates videos providing information about children\u2019s health, illnesses, injuries and emergency medical care.<\/p>\n Her pediatric cancer post<\/a> featured Martin holding a series of signs containing facts and messages about childhood cancer. The video quickly gained attention across social media, receiving millions of views and thousands of responses.<\/p>\n Martin said the post was intended to increase awareness about pediatric cancer and highlight the experiences of children receiving treatment and their families.<\/p>\n Johns Hopkins All Children\u2019s Hospital in St. Petersburg treats pediatric patients with a variety of medical conditions.
