Then, people in another vehicle arrived at the facility, and the two parties became involved in an altercation, according to the sheriff’s office.

This content is imported from facebook. The driver fled, and deputies performed a Precision Immobilization Technique, or PIT,
maneuver, bringing the vehicle to a stop, the MCSO said.

Additional units moved in and successfully immobilized the vehicle before the driver could flee again.

The individuals targeted by the gunfire had left the area before deputies arrived. At this time, it is unclear whether any of them were struck by gunfire, the agency said.

The woman was taken into custody and taken to the sheriff’s office, where detectives are currently questioning her.

Stay up to date: The latest headlines and weather from WPBF 25

Get the latest news updates with the WPBF 25 News app. You can download it here.

Follow us on social: Facebook | X | Instagram | YouTube | TikTok

Altercation at tow yard leads to shooting, Martin County Sheriff’s Office says Woman whose vehicle was towed taken…

[12
25773,2954,4561,11578,15615,123,660,154205,171,173,172,2631,165102,165101,1070,732,192,189
post-417096","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-port-st-lucie","tag-altercation","tag-area","tag-deputy","tag-detective","tag-martin-county-sheriff","tag-miami","tag-office","tag-other-individual","tag-port-st-lucie","tag-port-st-lucie-headlines","tag-port-st-lucie-news","tag-sheriff","tag-southeast-cove-road","tag-tow-yard","tag-traffic-stop","tag-vehicle","tag-woman","tag-wpbf
["GET
