Andrew Schulz<\/a> will be hitting the big screen.<\/p>\n

The comedian and podcaster is set to join Universal’s Miami Vice ’85, the Joseph Kosinski<\/a> crime film led by Michael B. Jordan<\/a> as Ricardo Tubbs and Austin Butler<\/a> as James “Sonny” Crockett, according to Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Schulz joins a cast that has been filling out through the year, including John Leguizamo<\/a> as the film’s main villain, Whitney Peak<\/a>, Alden Ehrenreich<\/a>, Camila Morrone<\/a>, and Danny Ramirez.<\/p>\n

According to Deadline, the film takes its cue from the pilot of the landmark 1984-90 series and digs into the “glamour and corruption” of mid-1980s Miami.<\/p>\n

Schulz also has a role in the live-action Street Fighter adaptation and recently wrapped the Apple sports film Running. His past credits include Netflix<\/a>‘s Tires, MGM’s Underdoggs with Snoop Dogg<\/a>, The Thicket opposite Peter Dinklage<\/a>, You People with Eddie Murphy<\/a> and Jonah Hill<\/a>, and the White Men Can’t Jump<\/a> remake with Jack Harlow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Production on Miami Vice ’85 will reportedly begin this year, and is set for release on May 19, 2028.<\/p>\n
