{"id":418541,"date":"2026-10-04T15:50:16","date_gmt":"2026-10-04T15:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/418541\/"},"modified":"2026-10-04T15:50:16","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T15:50:16","slug":"last-remaining-hooters-location-in-jacksonville-permanently-closes-its-doors-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/418541\/","title":{"rendered":"Last remaining Hooters location in Jacksonville permanently closes its doors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last remaining Hooters restaurant in Jacksonville has permanently closed.<\/p>\n<p>The lone location on San Jose Boulevard at Baymeadows Road posted a sign on the doors of the shuttered building that read, \u201cUnfortunately we have closed permanently.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1791129016_617_3DQTGLIM4JHR7N7TNEUGXCJK6E.png\" alt=\"\"\/>Hooters on San Jose Boulevard abruptly closes its doors\u00a0(WJXT)<\/p>\n<p>Though the exact date of closure is unknown, an orange Public Health and Safety notice also posted on the building was dated Sept. 29.<\/p>\n<p>As of Sunday, the location was still listed on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hooters.com\/locations\/?address=florida\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the company\u2019s\u00a0website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 24, the San Jose location had\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DdrzUruDOCo\/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">posted on Instagram<\/a>\u00a0about a new menu item.
