A man walking on train tracks was killed after a train struck him in Osceola County on Saturday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n
The report stated the train was traveling northbound around 7:21 p.m. on the railroad tracks west of Michigan Avenue approaching Garden Street.<\/p>\n
The man was walking north within the inside of the train track and in the direct path of the train, the report said.<\/p>\n
The train conductor attempted to avoid a collision and applied the emergency brake, but was unable to come to a controlled stop, striking the man with the front left portion of the train.<\/p>\n
The conductor was not transported and remained on-scene, while the man was pronounced deceased on-scene.<\/p>\n
