{"id":418773,"date":"2026-10-04T23:06:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-04T23:06:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/418773\/"},"modified":"2026-10-04T23:06:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-04T23:06:10","slug":"inexcusable-omission-letters-to-the-editor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/418773\/","title":{"rendered":"Inexcusable omission | Letters to the Editor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear editor,<\/p>\n<p>I totally agree with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.islandernews.com\/opinion\/letters_to_editor\/an-open-letter-to-the-village-of-key-biscayne\/article_48f3503c-0660-4daa-b489-4dc07fceebb1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Carolyn Koslen&#8217;s letter<\/a> to you about the Sept. 11 Key Biscayne ceremony last week.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, and this stretches back three years where the Village sponsored 9\/11 ceremony failed to mention our deceased 9\/11 heroes Ron Erbel and John Gilbert.<\/p>\n<p>The omission of the heroism and sacrifice of Ron is unacceptable, and I blame the Village Council, the Mayor and the Village Manager for this negligent inexcusable mistake.
