(WWSB) &#8211; A motorcyclist was killed and another was seriously injured after the two Harley-Davidson motorcycles collided in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Hillsborough County, Florida Highway Patrol said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The crash happened near milepost 266 as the motorcycles were heading north on I-75 when they collided and overturned in the highway\u2019s travel lanes, according to troopers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Both riders a 42-year-old Odessa man and a 49-year-old Spring Hill man suffered serious injuries and were left lying in the roadway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A 28-year-old Mulberry woman driving a Chevrolet Cruze stopped to help and parked in the inside emergency lane, investigators said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A short time later, a Dodge Challenger driven by a 22-year-old Wesley Chapel woman struck the 42-year-old motorcyclist who was still in the roadway, causing fatal injuries, troopers said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Challenger then left the travel lanes and crashed into the unoccupied Chevrolet Cruze.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Authorities did not immediately say whether any charges are pending as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WWSB.
