CANYON, Texas \u2013\u00a0West Texas A&M sophomore Mia Hammerschmid<\/a> shot a -2 (70) during Sunday’s final round to finish ninth overall as the #19 Lady Buffs concluded the NCAA National Preview at Mission Resort + Club (Par 72 \u2013 6,006 Yards) in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.

\nThe D\u00fcsseldorf, Germany product carded rounds of 77, 73 and 70 for a 220 (+4) as she tallied nine birdies with four of them coming in the final round. Tasnim Smaili<\/a> registered another Top 20 finish with a total score of 226 (+10) with six birdies as an opening round 72 (E) features five birdies for the sophomore.

\nThe Lady Buffs finished eighth on the team leaderboard with rounds of 299, 302 and 309 for a 910 (+46).

\nTournament host Rollins registered rounds of 298, 297 and 295 for a total of 890 (+26) to win the team title by four strokes over UT Tyler (+30). Addy Vogt of Rollins shot a -1 (71) in all three rounds for a two-stroke win over Alexandra Remaklus of Nova Southeastern.

\nThe Lady Buffs close out their fall schedule on October 19-20 as they travel to Wichita Falls, Texas to take part in the Midwestern State Invitational at Wichita Falls Country Club.
