Johnson eventually sent the money, and Duval said he would donate it to his alma mater\u2019s football team.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe good. He sent me the money, and this is what I\u2019m gonna do with the money,\u201d Duval said. ” I\u2019m gonna take the money, and I\u2019m going to take it to Raines High School and pay for some football equipment for them.”<\/p>\n
On Sunday, after the Bengals\u2019 loss, Johnson came on Shannon\u2019s Sharpe\u2019s YouTube show \u201cNightcap\u201d dressed in a hospital gown and surgical bonnet and holding a thermometer.<\/p>\n
\u201cI got a fever,\u201d Johnson said, looking at the thermometer after he claimed he was hospitalized. \u201cIt says 134.\u201d<\/p>\n
This isn\u2019t Duval\u2019s first time giving to the school. In December 2024, he offered to pay the difference toward the school\u2019s band $10,000 goal to travel to Miami for the Florida 3A state championship football game.<\/p>\n
