Inter Miami CF Foundation and Royal Caribbean hosted their International Fútbol Youth Clinic in Nassau, Bahamas for the very first time today with the support of the Bahamas Football Association, delivering a day of inspiration, education, and fútbol programming for local youth.

This special initiative marks the seventh International Fútbol Youth Clinic hosted by the Inter Miami CF Foundation and Royal Caribbean in 2026, following community youth clinics in Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Argentina earlier this year, as well as Panama and Jamaica in 2025.

The program’s first visit to The Bahamas brought the power of fútbol and community together, creating an opportunity to give back to the families who welcome Royal Caribbean ships every day while connecting with the passionate Inter Miami fan base across the islands. With Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau and Perfect Day CocoCay in the Berry Islands, The Bahamas is home to two of Royal Caribbean’s flagship destinations, making it the perfect place for Inter Miami and Royal to bring that same sense of belonging to the pitch.

“Bringing the International Youth Fútbol Clinic to The Bahamas for the first time is incredibly special for the Inter Miami CF Foundation and being able to do it alongside our incredible partner, Royal Caribbean, makes it even more meaningful,” said Mari Rey, Director, Inter Miami CF Foundation. “The people of The Bahamas have been so welcoming, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be here, connect with the local community and share the Freedom to Dream with the next generation. Through our partnership with Royal Caribbean, we’ve been able to bring the Foundation’s mission to communities across the region since launching this program in 2025, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see how these experiences continue to touch the lives of our young fans abroad.”

Before the clinic, Royal Caribbean and Inter Miami CF visited T.A. Thompson School, where they provided breakfast to hundreds of children, setting the tone for a day focused on supporting Nassau’s youth both on and off the pitch.

The day continued with a youth fútbol clinic for 120 young players ages 9-12 from local public schools at the Roscow Davies Field led by Inter Miami CF Academy coaches Angel Hoyos, Julio Alvarez, Richard Perdomo, and Daniel Escobar, giving young players in Nassau hands-on instruction and skill-building exercises focused on confidence and teamwork.

“Investing in our youth is one of the most meaningful ways we can strengthen our communities,” said Philip Simon, President, Royal Caribbean Bahamas. “We’re proud to work alongside Inter Miami CF to create opportunities that bring young Bahamians together, build confidence, and leave a lasting impact across our community.”

Inter Miami CF Academy Homegrown defenders Izzy Boatwright, of Dominican heritage, and Tyler Hall, of Guyanese heritage, inspired the next generation by sharing their journeys and putting their fútbol skills into action with the children.

Participants also received commemorative gifts, including sunglasses, towels, an exclusive “Play Like an Icon” Royal Caribbean and Inter Miami CF t-shirts, as well as a fútbol ball.

The clinic marked another meaningful chapter in the incredible partnership between two Miami-based organizations, Inter Miami CF and Royal Caribbean, united by a shared commitment to making a positive impact in the communities they call home and the communities they reach around the world. Since launching the International Youth Fútbol Clinic program in 2025, the partnership has brought meaningful fútbol experiences to young people across Latin America and the Caribbean, inspiring the next generation through the power of the game.

Inter Miami CF Foundation and Royal Caribbean hosted their International Fútbol Youth Clinic in Nassau, Bahamas for the…

[9
123,125,124
post-420313","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-miami","tag-miami","tag-miami-headlines","tag-miami-news
["GET
