Here&#8217;s the following locations expected to close:<\/p>\n<p>FloridaFort Pickens Management Area will close for day use Oct. 7 at noonThe Fort Pickens Campground use is suspended immediately for check-inOpal Beach Complex will close for day use Oct. 7 at noonPerdido Key Management Area (Johnson Beach) will close for day use Oct. 7 at noonThe Okaloosa Area and Crab Island will close for day use Oct. 7 at noon<\/p>\n<p>The Davis Bayou and Fort Pickens Campgrounds need to be evacuated by 4 p.m. on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>Until further notice, the Naval Live Oaks and Fort Barrancas Areas will stay open. But all other programs are canceled at this time. <\/p>\n<p>MississippiAll the barrier islands (Ship Island) will close for recreation immediately beginning Oct. 7.The Davis Bayou Area will close at 4 p.m. October 7. The Davis Bayou Campground use is suspended immediately for check-in.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The area of potential impact extends from western Florida Panhandle to Louisiana along the Gulf Coast,&#8221; said the release. <\/p>\n<p>Closure times may be earlier, depending upon how conditions look. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"PENSACOLA, Fla. &#8212; Gulf Islands National Seashore has announced some closures Tuesday as a weather system develops.
