Moon by Malio\u2019s, the newest restaurant from the Malio\u2019s group, is opening Thursday, October 8, inside the Berkeley Beach Club Hotel.<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s still plenty to be revealed about the new spot, we know Moon by Malio\u2019s<\/a> is bringing elegant coastal cuisine to the beloved boutique hotel at 109 8th Avenue. The restaurant promises a menu with \u201cbright coastal flavors, beautiful seafood, handmade pastas and dishes made for long evenings in Pass-a-Grille.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Moon by Malio\u2019s is part of the growing Malio\u2019s brand, which includes Malio\u2019s Prime Steakhouse<\/a> in Tampa and Malio\u2019s Beach House<\/a>, which opened early last year on St. Pete Beach. Known for its classic steakhouse fare, the brand is taking a slightly different direction with this new concept, giving the team a chance to get creative with lighter, seafood-inspired dishes that feel right at home on the beach.<\/p>\n

The opening is especially exciting for the Berkeley Beach Club<\/a>. The restaurant space inside the hotel was formerly home to The Dewey, a cherished wine bar and seafood restaurant that sadly closed after sustaining damage from the hurricanes in fall 2024. Now, the space is getting a new chapter and bringing a little more hospitality back to the beaches.<\/p>\n
