{"id":421945,"date":"2026-10-08T05:14:13","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T05:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/421945\/"},"modified":"2026-10-08T05:14:13","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T05:14:13","slug":"tallahassee-police-arrest-29-year-old-man-for-homicide-on-delaware-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/421945\/","title":{"rendered":"Tallahassee Police arrest 29-year-old man for homicide on Delaware Street"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TALLAHASSEE, FL \u2014 The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) said it has arrested a man in connection with the death of a man on Delaware Street last month.<\/p>\n<p>TPD said it arrested Al\u2019layza Henry,29, for the shooting.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wtxl.com\/news\/local-news\/tallahassee-police-investigating-overnight-homicide-on-deleware-street\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">On Sept. 30<\/a>, officers responded to the 700 block of Delaware Street around 1 a.m. Officers found a male victim who had a gunshot wound. <\/p>\n<p>First responders attempted to save the man, but he died on scene, TPD said.<\/p>\n<p>TPD said investigators found the victim and the Henry were inside the residence before the victim died.<\/p>\n<p>Henry was arrested for second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon<\/p>\n<p>Want to see more local news?
