PETERSBURG \u2014 A St. Petersburg woman was arrested Sunday after police said she backed her vehicle into a man, pinning him between two vehicles, police officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The St. Petersburg Police Department charged Francesca Toby with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n<p>The victim, Toby&#8217;s husband, who is currently seeking a divorce, had gone to help a neighbor change a flat tire.<\/p>\n<p>When he returned to the home on 12th Street South, an argument ensued.<\/p>\n<p>According to an SPPD report, a neighbor&#8217;s surveillance camera captured Toby driving out of the driveway and then intentionally backing her vehicle into the victim, pinning him between her car and another vehicle parked in the driveway.<\/p>\n<p>The victim suffered injuries that caused a severe limp on his left side, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Toby was booked into the Pinellas County Jail without bond.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1791458655_326_CHAD.MILLS.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;My heart breaks&#8217;: Woman describes helping injured students after deadly school bus crash in Polk County<\/p>\n<p>A woman on her way to work Monday morning found herself helping injured Winter Haven High School students after a school bus crash that killed two people.<\/p>\n<p>Woman describes helping injured students after deadly school bus crash in Polk County<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ST.
